This original CBC series, written by George F. Walker and Dani Romain and produced by Bernard Zukerman (Conspiracy of Silence) sets the story from the eyes of Alice De Raey (Cara Pifko), a young criminal lawyer who is thrown into a justice system bursting at the seams. She encounters an endless procession of characters-ranging from the truly desperate to the wonderfully bizarre. Alice in "Wonderland" as it were. "This is Wonderland" is described as a humour-tinged, reality-based, dramatic series for television, and has currently filmed 13 One-Hour Episodes.
"Wonderland" is set in Toronto's Old City Hall and cast regulars include Michael Riley (Facts Behind the Helsinki Rocomatios), Michael Murphy (Magnolia), Michael Healey (Robocop), Siu Ta (Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle), Eric Peterson (Trudeau) and Kathryn Winslow (The Safety of Objects).
This is Wonderland:Episode 5
At this posting, the episode that features Mickey is referred only as "Episode 5". His character is named 'Patrick Bellamy,' and according to Mickey his character, "was one of the guest star roles and is part of the story line in that episode for one of the main characters in the series. There are several scenes. Interesting scenario."
Working on "This is Wonderland" reunites Mickey with his longtime friend and "Helsinki" co-star Michael Riley AND his "Conspiracy of Silence" producer, Bernard Zukerman.
