The Helen Betty Osborne Memorial Foundation, whose purpose is to provide financial assistance to
Aboriginal persons residing in Manitoba who are enrolled in post-secondary
studies in Manitoba.
The Foundation was established in December 2000, by an Act of the 2nd
Session of the 37th Legislature of Manitoba, and acknowledges Helen Betty
Osborne's goal of becoming a teacher, before her death in 1971.
